Sniper BDU Ghillie Jackets Mossy offes High Quality Jute Thread that is sewn directly on to a Military BDU 4 pocket coat to create this heavy duty Sniper Ghillie Suit Jacket. The BDU's are made by "Propper". The sewn on Jute thread covers the entire back of the jacket, tops of the arms, and shoulders. The Hood is attached, and thumb loops are sewn into the cuff of the sleeves for crawling.
The Front Chest area of the Sniper BDU Ghillie Jackets and the forearms have a 1000 Denier Cordura Plus material sewn on for those long Sniper crawls. The Cordura "Plus" means it has a Urethane Coating for water repellancy. All the buttons on the chest have been removed, and Velcro has been sewn on to secure the jacket closed. This makes your crawl more comfortable without feeling the buttons. If "Propper" brand is unavailable at the time, we will use "Tru-Spec" Brand. The total weight of the Sniper BDU Ghillie Jacket by GhillieSuits is 8 pounds.
The Hood is built the same way we build our Ghillie Poncho by hand tying the Jute thread to a 1"x1" netting, finally sewing this to the Jacket. This design keeps you cooler, allowing the wind to pass through and allows for better hearing. Important features if success is important to you.
This heavy duty sniper ghillie suit jacket is pre-treated with a Class "A" fire-retardant. Multiple patterns and sizes available. Woodland pattern shown in main photo. On the Sniper BDU Ghillie Jacket the length on the small is 29" from the bottom of the collar down.
